Inertia Project is now "Function Bikes"! Function Bikes is committed to providing customers with the same fantastic products and customer service they came to expect with Inertia Project. Look for great things in 2008 from Function Bikes - new products, appearances at events, and more... Stay tuned! What began as an experiment to improve Aaron's own downhill race rig, has evolved into a company to provide similar performance products to other mountain biking enthusiasts. In 2006, Aaron set up Inertia Project to build a limited run of "The Drop Crown Affair" for older Marzocchi 888 forks. After a strong response in the market to this product, Aaron is teaming up with a couple of other enthusiasts to bring an expanded product line to market. Function Bikes will now be marketing it's race crown sets for the Marzocchi 888 and Fox 40 forks as the "Inertia Project Race Crowns" to show the heritage to the original design. Make no mistake though, these new crowns are a brand new design incorporating lessons learned from the originals and intended to take the project a step forward in performance.Along with these new, improved race crowns, there are plans to bring a "drop stem" solution for the RockShox Boxxer line of forks to market as well as a long-term plan to offer downhill, freeride, and all-mountain frames featuring the pure engineering, clean design, and top notch quality that is core to every product Function Bikes manufactures. It only gets more exciting from here, so we invite you to come along for the ride! Thanks for your interest in Function Bikes and please keep watching this website and our newsblog for updates! -FNB Management. |
