Aaron finally finished his labor of love for the past 4 months or so... the "Series A" Downhill Racer. It's an all chromo steel frame with a unique chain arrangement in an attempt to solve the ever recurring chain growth problem on long travel frames. The Series A features just over 8" of rear travel and a high single pivot design for maximum rear triangle stiffness and suspension responsiveness.
We're still waiting on a shifter and seat post clamp to get the bike fully rideable, but the plan is to hit the trails this weekend for the first "shakedown"... Stay tuned for images and video... |
